Leo Carillo is my second favorite spot, to Sycamore Canyon. You can walk under a tunnel right to the beach from the campgrounds just off PCH. The only problem here is dogs aren’t technically allowed on the beach directly west of the campgrounds, but they are allowed on the beach directly north — you just have to walk a ways. I did my first beach dive here and it was awesome. So don’t forget to pack your SCUBA gear and/or surfboard.
