Lodgepole Campground, Sequoia National Park

Probably the most beautiful campsite ever: Lodgepole at Sequoia National Park. Just make sure you pack accordingly: there are boxes for food because bears are all over the place – we saw six black bears when we visited about two years ago. This is about a 4-5 hour drive north of L.A. but absolutely worth the trek.
